Solo traveler should avoid it
The staff were friendly and there was a cozy firepit outside with snacks like smores that reminded me of simpler times before everything got complicated and the location was ideal you could walk anywhere easily and it felt safe
It wasn’t exactly cheap but given the circumstances I thought it was still acceptable

missingWrote a review on 17 Septcharming ambiancetraditional decorlack of decorationbasic necessitiespoor service
The location is excellent, right in the heart of town with a charming ambiance. The room was clean and character-filled, and we appreciated the traditional decor and bench swing in the courtyard. However, the room felt less cozy than expected, resembling a dorm room with minimal decoration. Basic necessities like toilet paper and towels were not replenished without asking. The service missed the mark, with staff dismissing valid concerns about supply issues.

We loved visiting Tweetsie Railroad and checking out Magic Mountain Mini Golf. The suite was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The wine and cheese reception was a nice touch! Highly recommend for a fun group trip!
The breakfast was pretty minimal, and it could have used more variety.

Charming spot with lots of character. The location is ideal, right in downtown Blowing Rock, surrounded by shops and restaurants. My room had a cozy atmosphere, complete with thoughtful touches like coffee supplies and device chargers. The staff stood out. they were friendly and attentive, going the extra mile to upgrade my room and ensure it was welcoming before check-in. However, the air conditioning in the room was ineffective and had a musty smell, making it a bit uncomfortable at night. The breakfast offerings also left something to be desired. it was quite minimal and not what I expected based on previous visits.
